Shigang Dam

Shigang Dam is located on the road from Fengyuan to Dongshi. Due to the well-preserved natural landscape around the dam, it is common to spot birds such as little egrets and blue partridges, making it an excellent bird-watching spot in central Taiwan. A small waterfall was formed at Pifong Bridge due to the dislocation caused by the 921 earthquake. Furthermore, next to the dam's entrance is the Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way, originally a converted abandoned railway, which is also a unique attraction.
