Taiwan's first comprehensive science museum, offering diverse exhibits including the Life Science Hall, Earth Environment Hall, Human Culture Hall, Botanical Garden, Space Theater, IMAX Theater, and Science Center. It boasts a rich collection of natural specimens and professional exhibition content, combined with interactive facilities, leading visitors of all ages to explore the mysteries of science in a vivid and engaging way. Additionally, it includes the 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan in Wufeng, and in Nantou County, the Fonghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park and the Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park. These connect scientific education with ecological and environmental features, offering diverse travel experiences. With nearly three million visitors annually and over 100 million cumulative visitors since its opening, it is a highlight in Taiwan for both tourism and in-depth education. Opening Hours: *Tuesday to Sunday 09:00-17:00* Ticket sales until 16:30, last admission at 17:00. Closed: *Every Monday, Lunar New Year's Eve, and the first day of Lunar New Year.* If Monday is a national holiday or a make-up holiday according to the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration's calendar, the museum will remain open as usual.
