Shei-Pa National Park is located in the Shei-Pa Mountain Range in the north-central part of Taiwan Island. The park boasts numerous high mountains and magnificent scenery. Majestic peaks such as Xueshan (Snow Mountain), Dabajianshan, and the Holy Ridge, along with their natural geological landscapes, harbor important biological species and populations. It is home to unique Taiwanese national treasures like the Formosan landlocked salmon and the Guanwu salamander, among other protected species, making it a national park exceptionally rich in natural resources. Hiking trails within the park offer eco-tourism activities, satisfying the recreational needs of visitors, and making it the best place to enjoy beautiful scenery and abundant natural resources. The park is accessed through three recreation areas – Wuling, Guanwu, and Xuejian – which provide various recreational information and interpretive services, serving as the best starting points for exploring the park.
