Nanfang'ao

Located on the south side of Su'ao Port, Nanfang'ao is an important base for Taiwan's coastal and offshore fishing vessels. It boasts abundant fish catches and is one of Taiwan's three major fishing hubs. There are three fishing ports and fish markets here, each with distinct functions and characteristics. The First Fish Market holds auctions hosted by the Fishermen's Association daily around 2 PM. The Second Fish Market operates daily from about 3 PM to 5 PM, where fishermen sell their catch directly. Along Fishermen's Port Road, next to the Third Fishing Port, various seafood and specialty shops are concentrated, making it a popular gathering spot for tourists.
