Keelung Port

Keelung Port is located at the northern tip of Taiwan Island, between Fugui Cape and Bitou Cape. The port is embraced by layers of mountains on its east, west, and south sides, with its mouth opening to the northwest and curving southwest into the inner harbor, forming a narrow waterway approximately 2,000 meters long and 400 meters wide. It serves multiple functions, including military and commercial port activities, making it an excellent harbor in northern Taiwan. Keelung, situated at a harbor mouth, is as familiar with the ocean as breathing. Visiting Keelung is like receiving a baptism by the sea; a journey through this port city offers diverse charms. Upon exiting Keelung Train Station, Keelung Port immediately comes into view. The azure waters share life with Keelung residents throughout the four seasons. Stopping here allows one to appreciate the port's scenery and the luxury cruise ships and ocean liners regularly arriving from various countries, making it an ideal spot for heart-to-heart talks and enjoying the night view. In the future, Keelung Port will be more than just a port for cargo throughput and merchant ship convergence.
