Yun Hsien Resort

Wulai is located approximately 27 kilometers southeast of Taipei City and is the only mountainous area in New Taipei City. The entire region boasts lush green trees, clear flowing streams, and is embraced by mountains. The source at the top of the renowned Wulai Waterfall, in particular, offers breathtaking lake and mountain views, ancient towering trees, and a misty forest filled with colorful butterflies, cicada chirps, and bird songs, truly resembling a hidden paradise. However, this magnificent scenery was inaccessible to visitors due to the cliffs and precipices of the Nanshi River. This prompted the initiation of a cable car construction project, aiming to present the complete pristine natural landscape to the public via the aerial cable car. Moreover, given its naturally formed beauty, where each season—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—unfolds a unique charm, much like a fairyland, it was named "Yun Hsien Resort" (雲仙樂園).
