Bali Sailboat Dock

The Bali Sailboat Dock is located next to the Left Bank Exhibition Hall in Bali District, New Taipei City, and was officially opened on September 25, 2005. Covering an area of approximately 2,300 ping (about 7,600 square meters), it will integrate with the Left Bank Exhibition Hall, Mangrove Park, and the Shisanhang Museum of Archaeology to collectively form the "Bali Left Bank Arts and Culture Corridor," a vibrant area rich in cultural charm. The Bali Sailboat Dock is Taiwan's first riverside dock custom-built for sailing sports, providing an optimal training venue for grassroots athletes and enhancing local characteristics. Artists from the "Deaf Outdoor Painters Association" have collaborated to create six large-scale sailboat-themed landscape artworks, taking "light, wind, sea, and power" as their inspiration. These six large decorative artworks aim to highlight the spirit of public welfare and add unique features to the Bali Sailboat Dock. Furthermore, to emphasize the "wind" theme, artistic windmills shaped like sailboats are placed along the pier's edge, transforming the entire dock into a new attraction brimming with "the art of wind."
