Taipei Puppet Art Center

The Taipei Puppet Art Center primarily hosts puppet exhibitions, performances, and educational activities. Visitors can also purchase puppet artworks. Its Budaixi (glove puppet) area features different stage performance styles, such as Jin Guang opera stages and shoulder-pole stages. Visitors can also observe the making of instruments used in backstage performances and puppet heads. Additionally, the string puppet (Kuleixi) area showcases the differences in design and function between northern and southern Taiwanese string puppets. Visitors are also welcome to try operating the puppets. Furthermore, there are shadow puppet areas, international puppet areas, and diverse, interesting exhibition zones including special themed exhibitions.
