Tofu Cape is a picturesque small bay in Nanfang'ao, a tombolo formed by a tied island and a sand spit. It is named for its unique tofu-shaped rock formations, attracting many travelers who come to admire its distinctive rock scenery. A rich variety of recreational activities are available here. Especially in summer, with small and calm waves, the arc-shaped bay is an excellent spot for swimming and snorkeling. You can also follow the tide to get a close look at fish swimming among the coral reefs, connecting with the ocean and enjoying nature. Along the coastal path, you can stroll through the coastal terraces, scenic forest recreation area, and coral coastal zone. From there, you can also gaze into the distance at Bijiashan (Pen Holder Mountain) between Neipi Bay and witness the exciting sight of experienced rock anglers descending the cliffs. Besides swimming, enjoying the sea, and listening to the waves, the eastward-facing Tofu Cape is also an excellent spot for watching the sunrise. The sun slowly rises from the sea, and the morning glow gently illuminates Nanfang'ao. Alternatively, at sunset, the evening light shimmers on the water, illuminating the splendid sky and the returning fishing boats. The scenery is charming and unique, both by day and by night. The nearby cross-sea bridge is Asia's first single-beam suspension bridge. It spans the fishing port's navigation channel, connecting the north and south banks of Nanfang'ao, and is the most dazzling and prominent landmark in Nanfang'ao! In recent years, Tofu Cape has also seen an emerging water activity that is easier to master than surfing: "SUP stand-up paddleboarding." It mainly consists of a large surfboard and a paddle taller than the user, making it an extension of surfing. Remember, for water activities such as snorkeling or paddleboarding, it's best to be led by an instructor familiar with the local terrain and waters. While having fun, please also pay attention to your personal safety! [Important Note] This area has no managing staff. Visitors should avoid entering late at night. When entering for recreation, please pay attention to relevant notices. Do not go to deep water or dangerous areas to avoid accidents.
