Ling Jiou Shan Wu Sheng Dharma Center

The Ling Jiou Shan Wu Sheng Dharma Center was founded by its founder, Dharma Master Hsin Tao. Standing atop the mountain, visitors can gaze in all directions, enjoying panoramic views of the Northeast Coast and witnessing the sunrise and sunset, a truly expansive vista. A pair of sharp, seemingly soul-piercing eagle eyes marks the entrance to the Dharma Center. These iconic 'Heavenly Eye Gate' eagle eyes are flanked by stone pillars adorned with carved totems of various religions from around the world. Upon entering, the first sight is a striking 12-meter tall, black-faced, golden-bodied Guanyin statue cast in bronze, inspiring deep reverence. Further inside, visitors will pass through halls such as Wenxi Hall, Guest Hall, Huazanghai (Ocean of Flower Adornment), and Buddha Hall, as well as the Five Hundred Arhats Trail, where each stone sculpture of the Arhats along the path displays a unique expression and demeanor. Inside the main hall, with its red-tiled roof and stone walls, rests Taiwan's only jade-faced reclining Buddha, lying on its left side. Behind the Dharma Center, a pilgrimage path (Chaushan Boulevard) ascends directly to the summit of Laolan Mountain. A unique feature here is the 'Stupa Forest' (Sarira Pagoda Forest), comprising 53 stupas surrounding the Dharma Center, scattered amidst lush greenery. If you visit in autumn, you can witness the exclusive autumn scenery known as the 'Stupa Forest and Silvergrass Sea'. Situated on the mountainside of Laolan Mountain in Fulong, the Dharma Center offers panoramic views of Fulong's stunning coastline and the vast Pacific Ocean, as well as close-up views of the beautiful Bitou Cape and Sanjiao Cape. Surrounded by mountains and adjacent to the sea, the scenery is elegant and solemn, making it a sacred Buddhist site in Northern Taiwan for spiritual cultivation and inner peace.
