Surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, clear stream water gently winds its way through the park. This small park features streams, terraced fields, an ecological pond, small bridges, pavilions, and wooden walkways. Accompanied by the gentle chirping of birds and the soothing sound of flowing water, it creates a simple yet elegant pastoral green landscape. Yuanwangken Waterside Park is situated near the northern entrance of the Caoling Historic Trail. Despite being in a tranquil valley, it boasts rich flora and fauna. Taiwanese minnows and Formosan minnows swim in schools in the stream, while large patches of verdant grass line the riverbanks. Along the walking paths, fragrant white ginger lilies bloom. The lush scenery will undoubtedly soothe and delight busy minds. After exploring the Caoling Historic Trail, consider taking a stroll in this serene waterside park. From the wooden pavilion, you can admire the rustic terraced fields and the natural ecological pond. Alternatively, follow the stone path alongside the stream to a large pond featuring a charming arch bridge and a double waterside pavilion. You can cross the arch bridge to a smaller viewing bridge, or choose to sit in the double waterside pavilion, quietly observing the clear lake reflecting the pavilion and tree shadows, with schools of small fish and lifelike lotus flowers adorning the water. We invite you to visit, enjoy the peaceful beauty of this secluded valley, and experience the joys of nature and precious pastoral moments.
