Fulong Beach is a famous spot that almost everyone has heard of, even if they haven't visited! What you might not know is that it has been a well-known swimming beach since the Japanese colonial era, and even after a century of history, it remains bustling and vibrant today. The Shuang River flows into the sea here, cradling this golden sandy beach between the Pacific Ocean and the Shuang River, creating a unique dual landscape of an inner river and an outer sea. Coupled with its azure seascape, it has earned the reputation of being a "Golden Coast." A crescent-shaped arch bridge, beautifully named "Rainbow Bridge," connects the two areas, guiding visitors to this summer paradise. Beyond the stunning scenery of blue skies and clear waters, the wide and calm river makes it perfect for various water activities such as windsurfing, kayaking, and surfing. Water sports enthusiasts should not miss it! Summer is the most exciting season here, with a series of major annual summer festivals kicking off in May: The Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival, from May to August, invites sand sculptors from various countries to meticulously craft breathtaking works of art, perfect for families of all ages to enjoy together. Between July and August, the Hohaiyan Rock Festival (Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival) draws music and ocean lovers from both Taiwan and abroad to celebrate, making it one of the wildest ocean music festivals of the summer and infusing this international-class beach with youth and vitality!
