In the Northeast Corner, beyond exploring the beauty of nature, why not embark on an intellectual and spiritual journey? Step back in time in the Ruifang Jinguashi town, discover its glorious "golden" era, personally experience the natural lessons bestowed by nature, and feel the charming allure of Jinguashi from its past to the present. Transformed and revitalized from a former gold mining area, the Gold Museum Park, as Taiwan's first eco-museum, records the hardships of gold mining and daily life in the community during that period, boasting a rich local cultural history and precious natural assets. Here, you can experience the nostalgic and tranquil charm of Japanese architecture; delve into mining tunnels for an adventure; or roll up your sleeves with children for a DIY gold panning experience. The knowledge of mining culture and irregularly held special exhibitions are also highly educational. When you visit the Gold Museum, there's one must-do activity! Located on the second floor of the Gold Building is the famous treasured artifact – a 220-kilogram, 999 pure gold brick. Visitors are invited to touch and try to lift it with their thumb and index finger. Do you have "strong fingers"? Come and take the challenge!
