Due to the steep terrain of the Nanya Coast, sea cliffs and sea-eroded weathered rocks are highly developed. The rock formations in this area belong to the Dapu Formation sandstone, which is hard and not easily eroded. Because the hardness and thickness of each rock layer differ, their resistance to erosion and erosion rates also vary, leading to the creation of uniquely shaped and diverse giant rock formations, such as the famous Ice Cream Rock, Bamboo Shoot Rock, and Sea Dog Rock. The patterns on the rock surfaces resemble tree rings, recording the traces and vitality of nature's passage through years and ages. Viewed from different angles, each rock offers a unique charm, prompting exclamations of awe and wonder.
