Tainan Upland Garden Waterworks Museum

Passing by County Road 178, one might easily miss this century-old historic site located right by the main road – the former Tainan Waterworks. It is an important monument that bears witness to the development of water infrastructure in the Greater Tainan area. After its retirement, the Tainan Waterworks shed its former glory and has today transformed into a waterworks museum filled with a historical ambiance. The Baroque-style factory buildings are well-preserved, and the internal machinery sets are perfectly maintained, all of which are rare antiques that evoke a deep sense of nostalgia for the past.
