Gueidan Hot Spring Experience Pool

"Gueidan" sounds like a place name that would appear in a mythological story, and it is said to be a translation from a Pingpu indigenous language. In fact, "Gueidan" means hot spring, just as the Atayal people call hot springs "Wulai." The source of the Gueidan Hot Spring is located in the river valley at the junction of Tangzaun Mountain and Meiling. This hot spring emerged due to a fault uplift and is a sodium bicarbonate spring. Soaking in it can make the skin smooth and delicate, thus it is also known as "Beauty Soup."
