The Hutoupi Reservoir, built in 1846, is backed by mountains and faces water. Its original purpose was an irrigation reservoir. It now has over 170 years of history, and in 1939, it was reclassified as a scenic area. The park also boasts eight famous scenic spots: Moon Fishing in Tiger Stream, Clouds Returning to Tiger Islet, Reflection of Tiger Head, Flying Spring at the Sluice Gate, Enjoying the Moon at Jiang Pavilion, Viewing Fish from Hao Bridge, Rainbow Reflection on the Water Bridge, and Snail Traces on Solitary Islet. Its diverse and beautiful scenery has earned it the nickname "Little Sun Moon Lake," and its stunning landscapes have made it a proud backyard garden for locals.
