Jingzaijiao Tile-Paved Salt Fields

The Jingzaijiao Tile-Paved Salt Fields were Beimen's first salt fields and are the oldest existing tile-paved salt pan site. Originally the Laidong Salt Field during the Qing Dynasty era, it was relocated here in 1818 and has remained in this location ever since. This makes it Taiwan's oldest salt field at its present site, with a history of over 200 years.
