Beimen Islet Christian Church

In the early years, residents in the southwestern coastal areas of Taiwan frequently drank arsenic-laden groundwater, leading to the widespread prevalence of Blackfoot disease. Many patients consequently suffered deep physical, mental, and spiritual torment. During this period, the establishment of the Beimen Islet Christian Church offered patients spiritual solace. The church collaborated with Dr. Wang Jin-he, jointly dedicating themselves to the physical and psychological well-being of the patients.
