Beimen Tourist Center

The Beimen Tourist Center, located in Tainan City's Beimen District, was transformed from a cluster of old warehouses on the southwest side of the Beimen Washing Salt Factory. It retains the original buildings' gabled, sloping roof design, preserving its historical and cultural value. Using a geographical zoning concept, the center introduces the main attractions within the scenic area from north to south. It also showcases and explains the area's rich tourism resources—including 'salt industry history,' 'wetland ecology,' 'religious humanities,' 'local industries,' and 'literature and art'—through various themed exhibition zones. Numerous impressive facilities are available both inside and outside, making this not just a service hub for visitors, but a must-visit destination in Beimen, renowned for its natural ecology and historical charm.
