Dujia Settlement Cultural Museum

The Dujia Settlement was gradually developed and expanded by the Qiu family, with all residents sharing the surname Qiu. It is currently the best-preserved and largest single-surname kinship-based settlement in Taiwan. The ancestors of the Dujia Settlement migrated from Fujian to Taiwan in the early days, where they established families, built livelihoods, multiplied their descendants, and lived together as a clan. This historical process serves as a microcosm of the early development of the Tainan region and the formation of its settlements.
