Chenglong Wetland

The Chenglong Wetland was formed from the farmland that residents of Kouhu Township relied on for their livelihood. Due to its low-lying terrain and years of excessive groundwater pumping, the land suffered severe subsidence, leading to constant flooding. This, coupled with typhoon-induced seawater intrusion, transformed it into an abandoned wetland. However, it subsequently became a paradise for wetland plants and waterbirds.
