Qigu Salt Mountain Park

The Qigu Salt Field used to be Taiwan's largest solar salt field, primarily supplying domestic agricultural and industrial salt. However, as times changed, solar salt production became economically unviable. In May 2002, the Qigu Salt Field closed its salt pans, bringing an end to 338 years of glorious salt production history.
