Beimen Lagoon

The ecological environment of Beimen District is characterized by a lagoon ecosystem, rich in fish, shrimp, shellfish, and mangrove landscapes. Many egrets, waterbirds, mudskippers, and various crabs are commonly seen, offering the charm of lagoon ecotourism. The most captivating sight is the whiskered terns that visit from October to April each year. Every dusk, flocks of whiskered terns gather and fly in the air, changing into various formations according to the wind direction, creating a spectacular sight.
