Located in a small alley in front of Jiaying Temple in Budai Township, this monument bears an inscription by Taiwan Governor General Den Kenjirō: 'Monument to the Landing of His Royal Highness Prince Sadaai in Taiwan'. The original monument was established to commemorate His Royal Highness Prince Sadaai leading the Imperial Guard Division to land at Budai Harbor during the 1895 Yiwei War.
