Guoshengpu Outpost

Guoshengpu Outpost is located next to Yehliu Cape, near Yehliu Geopark. To its west are Jinshan Cape and Tiaoshi Coast, and to its east is Emerald Bay, boasting mountain-sea landscapes and rich biodiversity. Guoshengpu was once a military coastal defense control point that was not open to the public. After adapting to the times and shedding its national defense mission, its idle land and abandoned barracks were legally allocated by the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration in April 2016. The outpost retains distinctive elements like the coast guard post and bunkers. Its former barracks have been revitalized both in exterior and interior, and a local team, Shanhai Fangyuan, has moved in to provide unique dining services. It serves as an intermediate service point connecting the Jinshan and Yehliu regions.
