Guikou Fishing Port

Guikou Fishing Port is located north of Emerald Bay Beach. In recent years, it has gained fame due to the New Taipei City Government's promotion of "Wanli Crab". As the fresh catch is unloaded and auctioned directly upon arrival at the port, the seafood is exceptionally fresh. Many gourmands and food lovers choose to have the portside restaurants prepare their meals. The surrounding area, linking Yehliu and Emerald Bay, boasts approximately 3 kilometers of coastline where unique rock formations stand due to long-term sea erosion. It was once recognized by the Ministry of Interior's Construction and Planning Agency (now the National Land Management Agency) as the most beautiful coastline in its coastal environment landscape evaluation, making it one of the best spots to admire sunrises and scattered fishing lights.
