Waimushan Hukai Bay

The 4-kilometer-long Hukai Road, stretching from Waimushan Fishing Port to Dawulun Aodi Fishing Village, is the longest remaining natural coastline within Keelung City. Near Waimushan Fishing Port, there are natural seawater swimming facilities, offering a spot for skilled swimmers to swim or snorkel. Dawulun Aodi Beach is the only beach within Keelung City. Although artificial, its tranquil scenery, pristine white sand, and clear waters create a charming seaside ambiance. Additionally, along the route, there are several seafood restaurants, coffee shops, and mobile tourist service stations, making it an excellent destination for families, young people, and couples. Hukai Bay, situated between Dawulun Aodi Beach and Wanli District, New Taipei City, features coastal reefs sculpted into unique shapes by years of seawater erosion. Here, visitors can not only enjoy the stunning seascape but also walk along the bicycle path, gaze at Keelung Islet in the distance, and watch large ships entering the harbor, making it a great place for leisure and hiking. The visitor service center, established for tourists, allows them to sip coffee or tea while listening to the sound of waves. In the evening, they can admire the magnificent sunset and also enjoy the twinkling fishing lights on the sea, making it a truly worthwhile place to explore and experience.
