When walking, choose the difficult path; when carrying a load, pick the heavy one. Come to learn to be a tough guy, leave as a tough guy. If you want to become a tough guy, come to Guanyin Mountain and challenge Yinghan Ridge. Yinghan Ridge, with an elevation of 616 meters, is the highest peak on Guanyin Mountain. It earned its name because the former Military Police School used to train its 'Tough Guy Spirit' here. The gradient of Yinghan Ridge is 14.87%, making it relatively steep and classified as a Class 2 slope. The one-way distance is approximately 1563 meters, mostly consisting of stone steps. A leisurely walk takes at least 60 minutes to reach the summit, Yinghan Ridge. Therefore, it is categorized as a 'Training Level' trail, suitable for those who frequently hike or have better physical fitness. The entire trail is densely forested with rich plant ecology, offering shade throughout, so it's not overly hot even in summer. Along the way, you can take short breaks to enjoy the abundant ecological environment. Upon reaching Yinghan Ridge, you'll be treated to a panoramic, expansive view, allowing you to gaze at the beautiful scenery of the Greater Taipei area, including the Tamsui River estuary, Taipei 101, Shin Kong Life Tower, Grand Hotel, Guandu Bridge, Tamsui, and Bali, as well as the beautiful eighteen peaks surrounding Guanyin Mountain. The stunning vistas are unobstructed and stretch as far as the eye can see.
