Zhongjiao Bay

With its concave sandy coastline and the beautiful, exceptionally high waves stirred up by the seasonal north winds, Zhongjiao Bay, located at the 39-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway 2, has become the most renowned surfing paradise on the North Coast. This excellent surfing spot always attracts many surfers riding the waves during holidays. Several clubs here also offer surfboard rentals and lessons, so whether you're a beginner or an advanced surfer, you can find the thrill of surfing on this beach. The Zhongjiao Bay International Surfing Base provides a training center and visitor services, making it an international-class surfing destination. Besides water activities, you can also admire one of the Eight Sights of Jinshan: the 'Candlestick Islets' from afar. The beautiful seascape where the sea meets the sky always allows people to cast aside worries and busyness, fully immersing themselves in the azure coast. The Candlestick Islets can be considered Jinshan's iconic attraction, also known as the 'Husband and Wife Rocks.' Located on the sea east of Jinshan Cape, they resemble two candlesticks standing side by side. Their formation is due to the uplift of the land, creating sea stack pillars from uplifted coral reefs, making them very unique and interesting.
