Qingshan Waterfall is located in Jianshan Lake, upstream of the Laomei River, and was formerly known as 'Jianshan Lake Waterfall.' The towering Zhuzi Mountain gathers abundant water from the mountains, which then flows through a fault in the valley with a significant drop, thus forming Qingshan Waterfall in the Shimen mountain forest. As you ascend gently along the trail, you'll be accompanied by green mountains and the Laomei River all the way. With lush trees providing shade and the chirping of insects and birds, even if you visit in the height of summer, you won't suffer from the scorching sun. To visit the picturesque Qingshan Waterfall, one must climb upwards along the Kandingliao Canal, which was built long ago to irrigate the terraced fields. Following the gurgling sound of water, proceed along the gentle slope, and you can leisurely stroll on the trail. Looking around, in addition to being accompanied by green mountains and the Laomei River, you'll see silvergrass swaying gracefully in the wind, and various trees with unique growth patterns on either side. At times, you can look back towards the coast, observe the rolling hills emerging from the mountains, and see terraced fields everywhere, enjoying the pleasure of admiring the scenery from above. When in Shimen, besides driving along the coastline to witness the marvelous changes in nature's landscape, consider driving towards the mountains and embarking on a tranquil forest journey on the Qingshan Waterfall Trail, enjoying the comfort and freedom of being away from the hustle and bustle.
