Shimen Wedding Plaza

Shimen Wedding Plaza is located in Shimen District, New Taipei City, and is Taiwan's first wedding plaza. It faces the ocean directly and features a Mediterranean theme with blue and white colors. The azure North Coast, combined with white-toned architecture and immaculate white bell tower corridors, perfectly complements the North Coast's breathtaking natural scenery of a seamless blue sky meeting the sea. This creates a romantic atmosphere, making visitors feel as if they are on the Greek coast, and is ideal for dates or wedding photography. Shimen Wedding Plaza is a romantic spot specifically designed for newlyweds. To continue the popularity of the 'North Coast Wedding Photos' event that began in 2005, the North Coast Scenic Area Administration transformed this area into a permanent tourist attraction for the North Coast. It converted what was originally an area of corrugated iron shacks and vendor stalls into the first wedding plaza, providing a place for visitors to take photos. The plaza faces the sea and features a Greek-inspired bell tower wall, Greek columns, trellised archways, and a blue-and-white color scheme, showcasing a strong Greek ambiance. Visitors don't need to travel abroad; they can capture romantic, exotic-style photos right here in Taiwan.
