The Rainbow Mountain Great Buddha is located on Xinkai Road in Liugui District. It is also known as the 'Liugui Great Buddha' and was established by the Rainbow Mountain Religious Foundation. Construction began in Minguo 89 (2000) and, after 15 years, it was completed and opened for free public viewing in Minguo 104 (2015).
