Dona Tribe

The Dona Tribe is situated at the end of Highway 132 in Maolin District, making it the innermost village in the area. Dona was formerly known as 'Tunzi', a name transliterated from Japanese. The residents call their own settlement 'Kunadavan'. The Dona Tribe is an amalgamation of several smaller settlements and is currently the village in Maolin District with the most complete preservation of Rukai traditional culture.
