Baolai Hot Spring Area

The Baolai Hot Spring Area is located in Baolai Village, Liugui District. You will arrive at the Baolai Hot Spring Area immediately after crossing Baolai No. 1 Bridge. It is a famous hot spring tourist destination in southern Taiwan. During the Japanese colonial period, the Baolai Hot Spring Area was entirely virgin forest, filled with mountain trees such as cypress, camphor, and zelkova. Therefore, the Japanese called this place "Penglai Wonderland," which became the origin of today's place name, Baolai.
