Maolin Environmental Education Center

Maolin National Scenic Area is primarily known for its rich natural ecology, diverse terrain, landforms, and indigenous culture, with the overwintering purple crow butterflies being its most famous feature. To sustain the tourism and recreational environment of the Maolin area, the Maolin National Scenic Area Administration planned and established an environmental education center. This center aims to connect resources from industry, government, academia, and community partners, provide specialized personnel training, develop unique local environmental curricula, and promote the concept of in-depth tourism, thereby collaboratively creating an environmental education venue for sustainable tourism.
