The Duona High Suspension Bridge is located on Longtoushan (Dragon Head Mountain) between Wanshan and Duona. It is 232 meters long and 103 meters high, spanning across the Zhuokou River, and is reputed to be the highest suspension bridge in Southeast Asia. During the Japanese colonial period, fierce conflicts arose due to the aggressive 'pacification policy' towards indigenous tribes. The Duona tribe, located deep in the mountains, was never conquered. Therefore, under the guise of 'peace and war,' the Japanese proposed a plan to build a suspension bridge for transporting food supplies, though in reality, it was a means to open up the area and enforce their pacification policy.
