Sisters Pond

After passing the Alishan House Hotel and walking through a tranquil cedar forest, the first sight to greet you on the left is a clear, small pond—this is the 'Younger Sister Pond' of Sisters Pond. Sisters Pond is comprised of two adjacent high-mountain lakes, one larger and one smaller. Legend has it that these two ponds are the site where two mountain sisters sacrificed themselves for love.
