Tanayiku Nature Ecological Park

Located in the Shanmei community of Alishan Township, Chiayi County, "Tanayiku" (達娜伊谷) means "Valley of Forgetfulness" in the Tsou language. This area is not only an important watershed in the upper reaches of the Zengwen River but also a moving legend about the local community's concerted efforts to protect their land and bring about ecological rebirth.
