Visitor Essentials

Due to the 921 earthquake, external transportation to Fengshan became inconvenient. To connect with tourist roads outside the village, this bridge project cost over 170 million NT dollars and was finally completed in 2007. Subsequently, the bridge's landscape facilities and surrounding greening and beautification projects were successively completed, and themed tourist attractions were developed. The bridge features a single-span basket-handle steel arch bridge design. It is 140 meters long, has no central piers, and its abutments on both sides are built on caisson foundations. Central suspension cables separate one lane in each direction and a pedestrian walkway. The approach ramps at both ends are 280 meters long with a clear width of 7.5 meters. It is Chiayi County's longest-span bridge, connecting to the nearby Debris Flow Park. At night, its ever-changing bridge lighting spans across the stream valley, illuminating the serene valley and creating a truly dazzling sight.
