Sanyuan Temple

Sanyuan Temple, nestled at an altitude of one thousand meters in the clouds, is the most representative spiritual center of Taiping Village, Meishan Township, Chiayi County. This majestic temple, covering an area of approximately 500 pings, was relocated and rebuilt at its current site in 1976 (ROC Year 65). It is not only the largest temple in Taiping Village but also the spiritual pillar safeguarding generations of residents in this mountain town.
