Forest of Five Wonders

Alishan was originally one of Taiwan's three major logging areas, and was later developed into a national forest recreation area. Along the shaded paths beneath towering ancient trees, visitors can breathe in phytoncides and listen to the singing of birds. Every year, when the flowers bloom, the entire mountain is filled with a sea of colorful blossoms.
