Sea of Clouds (One of the Five Wonders)

Autumn and winter are the best seasons to admire the sea of clouds. Within the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, the best viewing spots are the observation deck next to Alishan Museum, Alishan Hotel, Alishan Railway Station, Zhaoping Park, Ogasawara Mountain observation deck, and near the entrance transfer station. Mid-way along the Alishan Highway, spots like Xiding, Ding Shihjhuo, and the area around the 89.5K mark towards Zizhong are also worth visiting.
