Qingshuiyan Ecological Exhibition Center

Chinese ash trees, favored by rhinoceros beetles, are extensively planted around Baguashan's Qingshuiyan Temple. In the early days, these beetles were heavily over-hunted. In recent years, as ecological conservation awareness has risen, a volunteer team not only prevented merchants from poaching but also facilitated the establishment of the 'Qingshuiyan Ecological Exhibition Center'. Today, it serves as an important hub for ecotourism along the Baguashan Mountain Range. The center houses hundreds of diverse insect specimens, most of which were donated by Zhang Hongzhi, a retired teacher from Shetou Junior High School, providing a comprehensive record for ecological conservation education in the Baguashan area.
