Visitor Essentials
Located near the Donghe Suspension Bridge, this eye-catching Japanese-style wooden building was originally an old police station built during the Republic of China era. It was abandoned after Minguo 77 (1988) and remained unused until 2005, when it was rebuilt through the efforts of local residents with subsidies from the Council of Indigenous Peoples. The cultural hall provides tourist information services and cultural exhibits, showcases and sells distinctive handicraft works and local agricultural products. It also features a coffee bar where visitors can enjoy meals and drinks.
