Tengping Trail

This area was historically abundant in yellow rattan and had flat terrain, hence its name 'Tengping' (Rattan Flat). The trail entrance is next to the Shishan Visitor Center. Soon after starting, you'll encounter a striking 70-year-old Entada phaseoloides vine. The path alternates between stairs and dirt mountain trails. After passing an observation deck, a resting platform, and the Tengping Great Stone Wall, you'll reach the exit. You can connect to the Liuliao Ancient Trail to return to the visitor center. The entire loop takes about 1 hour.
