Penglai Creek Nature Ecological Park

Penglai Creek Nature Ecological Park is located in Nanzhuang Township, Miaoli County. In the past, severe overfishing in Penglai Creek became a growing problem. Local residents worked tirelessly to establish the "Penglai Creek Mutual Aid Fish Protection Patrol." After many years of collaborative efforts between the community and the government, the creek has finally been restored to its original ecological state, creating an ecosystem where fish species in the creek, riparian plants, and waterfowl can all safely thrive.
