Shierliao Trail

The name Shierliao originated during the Japanese colonial period, when it was the twelfth camphor distillation shed for refining camphor oil. Currently, Shierliao primarily focuses on tourism, offering excellent options such as hiking, walking, cycling, and dining. The trail is approximately 2000 meters long with a gentle gradient, yet from its highest point, visitors can still enjoy views of the plains. In recent years, it has been renovated due to the flourishing tourism industry, featuring mostly stone steps and gravel paths. The path is quite gentle, making it a trail suitable for all ages.
