Taiwan Adventist College, located in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, was established in 1951 and is one of the important educational institutions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Taiwan. The college was initially founded in Xindian, Taipei. In 1973, due to the impact of urban development on its educational environment, it relocated to its current site in Yuchi Township and was officially renamed Taiwan Adventist College in 1981. Upholding a Christian education philosophy, the college emphasizes the balanced development of spirit, intellect, and body, dedicating itself to cultivating young students with character, knowledge, and a spirit of service, while promoting the Christian gospel and social service. Its curriculum covers fields such as theology, literature, and science, and it collaborates with Andrews University in the United States to offer master's degrees, providing diverse academic options. The campus boasts a beautiful environment, nestled amidst the mountains and forests of Yuchi, with expansive lawns and natural landscapes, making it a popular spot for many tourists and newlyweds to take wedding photos. The college is not only a center for religious education but also a well-known tourist attraction in the Yuchi area due to its scenic campus. General visiting hours for the public are: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (Saturday is the Sabbath and is not open to the public for visits; only church activities are held.)
