Jinlong Mountain

Jinlong Mountain, located on Cui Zi Liao Mountain in Dayen Village, Yuchi Township, Nantou County, stands at an elevation of approximately 820 meters. It is a renowned low-altitude scenic spot in Central Taiwan. Known for its magnificent sea of clouds, stunning dawn light, and the mystical "Liuli Guang" (glass light) phenomenon, it has become a popular destination for photography enthusiasts and travelers seeking sunrises and seas of clouds. The Jinlong Mountain trail is approximately 1.5 kilometers long and features three scenic pavilions along the way, commonly known as Pavilion One, Pavilion Two, and Pavilion Three. Each pavilion has a parking lot, making it convenient for visitors to plan their hiking routes according to their physical condition and time. The trail winds through dense forests, offering a serene environment. In spring, it transforms into a hidden gem for cherry blossoms, attracting many flower admirers. In the early morning, Jinlong Mountain is an excellent spot to enjoy sunrises and seas of clouds, especially on clear mornings after rain, from October to March each year, where the ethereal sea of clouds often intertwines with the morning glow, creating a dreamlike spectacle. At night, the lights of Yuchi Township and Puli Township below the mountain intertwine with low-lying mist and clouds, creating the dreamlike "Liuli Guang" phenomenon, reminiscent of glazed glass, which adds a mysterious charm to the night view.
